In 2005-2006 both of the Colleges of Medicine of Paris VI (Pitié-Salpêtrière and Saint Antoine) began a merger process which will result in a single College of Medicine, Pierre et Marie Curie, in 2010.
This process will continue to be implemented with each year of studies. It began in 2005 with mutually identical curricula for P1( First year of medical studies) and will continue in 2006 with identical curricula for P2. At the start of the 2007 academic year, D1 courses will be mutually identical, and so on until the implementation of mutually identical curricula for D4 at the start of the 2010 academic year.
In keeping with this merger, theoretic courses for each year of studies are found on only one of the campuses: P1 at Pitié-Salpêtrière, P2 at Saint Antoine, etc.
The graph (in French and in English) concerning PCEM2 is given only for informational purposes because, at this time, the Pitié-Salpêtrière campus of Paris VI University includes ERASMUS exchanges only for students from years DCEM1, DCEM2, DCEM3 and DCEM4.
